The Marlow Wombles were seen litter picking at the riverbank by Marlow Rugby Club.

The group of volunteers who go round making Marlow look presentable were picking up trash on June 3, where they have urged those living in the town to ‘take their litter home.’

They said: “Please all take your litter home and don’t use the bushes as a toilet or leave your soiled boxers behind.

“But big thanks to those who did take their litter home and to the rugby club groundsman and everyone who thanked us!”

Following lockdown restrictions being lifted, several items of litter have been spotted in Marlow, with bins starting to overflow with rubbish.

Most notably in the town centre and High Street, where a bench in memory of a former Marlow mayor was too scattered with trash.
