1. Plans to turn High Wycombe strip club into a house - but manager adamant it's 'not going to happen'

This was the story that was read the most times this week.

The famous White Horse in West Wycombe Road, which is a pub and strip club, has had plans put forward to turn it into a 13-bed house in multiple occupation (HMO).

But manager Alastair Watts is not convinced the plans will go ahead, and says he is making some changes to the club before it reopens after the coronavirus crisis - including new furniture and carpets.

2. Sixth former's poignant show of solidarity on a busy High Wycombe road

Highcrest Academy sixth former Mudia Tahir knelt for hours in solidarity with victims of injustice along the London Road in High Wycombe.

Her display, which featured a poster with names of people of colour who have died in the UK, drew support on the day, and thousands of people read about her reasoning for it on the BFP this week.

3. These are the locations where Lidl want to open new supermarkets

Lidl has a big wish list for new shop locations, with 10 planned for Bucks towns including High Wycombe, Amersham, Beaconsfield, Chesham, Marlow and Gerrards Cross.

4. Prominent remainer and former Beaconsfield MP Dominic Grieve to teach law at top university

More than 6,000 of you were interested in what the former Beaconsfield MP Dominic Grieve is getting up to after he lost his seat at the General Election in December.

He is about to start teaching law at Goldsmiths College in London as a visiting professor.

5. MURDER PROBE: Woman whose body was found next to sister in London park was a Bucks social worker

There was tragic news this week of the murder of a much-loved Buckinghamshire Council social worker.

Bibaa Henry and her sister Nicola Smallman were found stabbed to death in a park in Wembley after failing to return home following Bibaa's 46th birthday celebrations.

No one has yet been arrested, but this week Buckinghamshire Council paid tribute to Bibaa.
