A black car was apparently seen speeding away after a man was stabbed in the elbow and shoulder in High Wycombe last week.

Police have revealed more details about the stabbing that happened in Chairborough Road on June 16 just before midday.

A fight involving a group of men reportedly left one person with stab wounds and he was rushed to hospital for treatment.

A black Mazda was apparently seen taking off at speed after the attack.

Police want to speak to anyone who has dash-cam or CCTV footage or who recognises these two descriptions of the men allegedly involved.

The first attacker is male, wearing a dark grey tracksuit with the hood pulled up over his face and was slim build and about 6ft 2ins tall.

He was wearing blue latex gloves.

A second man was between 5ft 10ins and 6ft tall, of slender build and was wearing long shorts and a dark top.

He had black hair and stubble.

A man has been charged with affray in connection with the fight.

Imran Ahmed, 29, of Chairborough Road, has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and Section 4 public order.

He appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (June 18) and was remanded on conditional bail to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on July 20. 

Investigating officer Detective Constable Aimee Summers, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “We are treating this incident as an affray and have arrested and charged one person.

“I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident or recognises the description of any of the men, to please get in contact with police.

“In addition, anybody who has CCTV from the area or who may have dash-cam footage, please check this and contact us if it has captured anything that could assist the investigation."
