A man aged in his seventies was pushed from his mobility scooter before being assaulted in broad daylight on Monday.

The man was attacked at around 2.40pm on Monday in Ravensgill Court, Milton Keynes.

He was taken to hospital where he remains. Nothing was stolen from the victim.

Two 16-year-old boys, both from Milton Keynes, have been arrested in connection with this incident.

They have both been bailed until July 26.

Investigating officer, PC James Elliott, of Milton Keynes police station, said: “This was a terrifying experience for the victim, who was pushed from his mobility scooter and then assaulted, leaving him with injuries requiring hospital treatment.

“I understand that this could cause worry within the community in Heelands, Milton Keynes, however I would like to offer reassurance to the public that we have made two arrests in connection with this incident.

“I am however seeking witnesses, or anyone who has information relating to it.

“If anyone believes they saw this incident taking place, or anything in the build up to it, we would like to hear from you.
