A teenager has pleaded guilty to causing death by careless driving after a promising young footballer was killed in a crash.

A black BMW came off the road and ploughed into an electricity sub-station in Windsor End, Beaconsfield, on August 6 last year - killing passenger Luca Skivington, 17.

Will Sherriff, 18, of Jennings Field in Flackwell Heath, was charged with a count of causing death by careless driving on April 28 this year.

He appeared at High Wycombe Magistrates' Court on Friday (June 26) and pleaded guilty.

He has been released on bail and will be sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on July 28.
