A house in High Wycombe was burgled in broad daylight where several items were stolen.

The thief entered the house in Chestnut Avenue between 9.40am and 10.15am on Wednesday, July 15, where they took a handbag containing a purse, cash and a bank card.

The offender has been described as a white male in his 30s and has a slim build.

He was wearing a long grey coloured coat and a hat.

Investigating officer P1578 Harry Gehnich of the Investigation Hub based at High Wycombe said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information to call our 24-hour enquiry centre on 101, quoting reference 43200215121.
