Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth was given a hero’s welcome after he guided the Chairboys to the Championship.

The 47-year-old, who has been in charge of the club since 2012, opened his door to see many people from neighbourhood give him a round of applause after achieving the impossible dream.

Wycombe defeated Oxford United 2-1 on Monday, July 13 at Wembley Stadium, which secured Wanderers’ place in the second tier of English football for the first time.
