Some of Watford's most famous matches have created memorable images that may not have been seen again since they were taken many years ago - until now.

Thanks to the Watford Treasury who have been digging through the archives, we are pleased to bring you our first selection of pictures from some of the club's most fondly remembered games from the past 50 years.

Scroll through the pictures on this page and you may recall some instantly, while others may be less recognisable, but we hope you enjoy this trip down Watford memory lane that is bookended by great FA Cup triumphs from 1970 and 1986 and includes a historic European adventure in between times.
