An unknown man broke into a High Wycombe home before running away when he was disturbed by two of the occupants.
Between 1.20pm and 1.30pm on Tuesday (August 4) an unknown man who is described as white, between 5ft 11ins and 6ft tall, and had dark hair entered a property on Thorne Road, Lane End by damaging the front door.
He began looking round the property before being disturbed by two of the occupants, a woman in her sixties and a woman in her forties.
He then ran away from the property and nothing was taken during the incident.
He was wearing a bright pink long-sleeved button shirt and a white surgical mask.
Investigating officer Sergeant Harry Gehnich, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to come forward.
“If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the area around this time, please get in touch.
