This week, we are looking at old photos of Gerrards Cross and Beaconsfield for Then and Now.
This first photo, taken June 1971, is looking north east and shows a view of the premises of Barclays Bank and properties around the junction of Oak End Way and Packhorse Road, Gerrards Cross.
The architecture is still recognisable now, although the building is no longer a bank, it's a solicitors office.

It was taken circa 1920. The building is a popular pub now and still called the White Hart.
