THREE charities have been handed some much-needed cash during the coronavirus lockdown by the Rotary Club of High Wycombe.
Wycombe Mind, which supports the mental health of those living in the area, Wycombe Homeless Connection which offers support to those who are rough sleeping or facing homelessness and Wycombe Women’s Aid, which helps those suffering from domestic abuse, have all been given £1,500 each.
The cash came from the Rotary club’s funds in a bid to help support them in a time of “extreme hardship and social upheaval”.
The Rotary Club, which relies on fundraising activities to be able to make these donations, has struggled during lockdown - and is hoping residents may support them. If you can donate, go to www.rotaryclubofhighwycombe.uk
