A teenage girl was raped in a popular High Wycombe park - and a 13-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the attack.
A cordon was set up at The Rye on Monday, August 10, and police have since told the Bucks Free Press that this was in connection with the rape of a teenager at around 3pm.
A 13-year-old boy from Buckinghamshire has been arrested on suspicion of rape and has since been released on conditional bail.
The girl and her family are being supported by specially trained officers.

Detective Inspector Michael Anderson from the Child Abuse Investigation Unit at Aylesbury police station, said: “This is naturally a distressing incident for the victim, and it will understandably cause concern in the local community.
“However, I would like to re-assure members of the public that a full and thorough investigation is under way and we have made an arrest.

“We believe this to be an isolated incident, with no wider risk to the public."
