A resident who lives the town noticed there were many small specs of glass on the pavement just outside the building society.

It is believed that the sign broke due to the sweltering heat which has been impacting parts of the country.
NatWest had been informed by several Marlovians about the broken sign, with the bank confirming that a member of their security team had been sent to the building to have a look at the incident.
As of August 18, the glass had been removed from the street.
