TO mark the launch of the annual 'know your numbers' campaign an Oxfordshire health body is calling on residents to check their blood pressure and stay healthy.
Oxfordshire clinical commissioning group [CCG] is backing the campaign which urges people to check their blood pressure regularly.
The charity Blood Pressure UK will launch its annual week-long ‘Know Your Numbers’ campaign from today.

The campaign is asking people to use a simple, reliable blood pressure monitor to measure their blood pressure at home – and if necessary to get treatment and support to bring it under control.
Dr Ed Capo-Bianco, a GP and urgent care lead at Oxfordshire CCG, said: “Home monitoring offers a way for people to take control of their health, feel confident, and take the pressure off the NHS at the same time.
"It gives you a practical way to 'know your numbers' without visiting your GP or pharmacist, and it really can save lives."
