A man was allegedly forced into a car - sparking a kidnap investigation which has seen one man arrested.

At around 2am on Saturday, September 5, a 999 call was made saying that a man had been forced into a red BMW 1 series in Chalk Hill, Chesham.

A 20-year-old man from Hillingdon has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap and has been released under investigation.

Police think there may have been a party going on in the area at the time and want to hear from anyone who went to it.

Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Simon Reid, of Amersham CID, said: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident, or who may have information about what happened to please come forward.

“We believe that there was a birthday party in the nearby area and would like to speak to anyone who has any information about it or who attended it.
