The company was created when the UK postal market was opened to competition in 2004, allowing companies to collect and sort business mail and pass on to Royal Mail for delivery.
Alongside an existing doordrop marketing service, the company has expanded from business mail into parcels, both in the UK and internationally.
It has seen significant growth in recent years as it has moved into fulfilment with warehousing, pick and pack and contact centre management for medium-sized brands and retailers.
As well as the Marlow HQ, the company has operations throughout the UK.
Commenting on the ranking, Nick Wells CEO, said: “We have always had an entrepreneurial spirit within the company and the management buyout allowed us to build on our postal heritage as we expanded internationally and also into fulfilment and contact centre services.
“Our success and seventh place ranking is built upon the great team we have at Whistl who continue to give customers the best possible service.”
