Police have issued a warning not to name the 16-year-old boy accused of stabbing a man in a terrifying daylight attack.
Detectives are probing a case of attempted murder after a 19-year-old man was knifed with a machete or a sword in High Wycombe town centre last Monday morning.
They have charged an 18-year-old High Wycombe man named Romario Hale and a 16-year-old boy who cannot legally be named because of his age.
After appearing at Oxford Magistrates' Court on Saturday (September 12), the pair were remanded in custody while police continue to investigate.

But Thames Valley Police have issued a warning after the 16-year-old was apparently named in social media posts.
They said: "We would like to remind the public that proceedings are now active and sharing any details relating to this case would be in contempt of court.
"We are aware of social media posts circulating which breach reporting restrictions in the identification of a 16-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons.
"Sharing these posts are in contempt of court and would render any individuals sharing this liable to prosecution."
