A MAN charged with a string of exposure offences has been given a date for his trial.

Carl Boers is charged with a total of five counts of exposure and one count of committing an act outraging public decency.

Prosecutors claim that the 24-year-old of Gainsborough Green, Abingdon, carried out multiple lewd acts at various locations across Oxfordshire in March.

Three of the alleged exposures and the act outraging public decency are claimed to have taken place on March 3 this year.

One exposure is alleged to have occurred on March 9 and the last offence is said to have taken place on March 14.

Among the acts alleged he is claimed to have 'exposed himself masturbating on the side of the road' and 'sat naked with an erect penis in a church.'

At Oxford Crown Court today a trial date was agreed for the case.

That trial - which is expected to last one day - will take place on October 14 at the same court.

No formal plea has been entered to any of the allegations.
