August 20 

  • Christopher Mason, 34, of The Pastures, High Wycombe. Using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress at Aylesbury police station on July 31. Community order made – take part in an accredited programme for 30 days and carry out 120 hours of unpaid work. Destroyed police handcuffs at Stoke Mandeville Hospital on July 31. Community order made. 
  • Faisal Mushtaq, 23, of Hughenden Avenue, High Wycombe. Using a vehicle on Rutland Avenue, High Wycombe, on April 16 without third party insurance. Fined £120. Costs £119. Driving record endorsed with eight points. 

August 24 

  • Jake Budgen, 29, of Station Parade, Denham Green. Possession of a controlled drug of class B (cannabis) in Great Kingshill on April 13, 2019. Fined £230. Costs £117. Cannabis forfeited and destroyed. 
  • Stuart Franklin, 34, of Cricket Ground, Stokenchurch. Driver of a vehicle who failed to stop after a road accident on April 10 on Wycombe Road. Damage was caused to a crash barrier. Fined £120. Costs £117. Driving record endorsed with seven points. 

August 25

  • Lucas Gomes, 19, of Conegra Court, High Wycombe. Possession of a knife blade in a public place. Had a three-inch bladed pocketknife in Conegra Court on September 16, 2019. Committed to detention for six months, suspended for 24 months. Curfew for three months with electronic monitoring. Must participate in an accredited programme for three months. Costs £372. Knife forfeited and destroyed.
  • Thomas Bell, 30, of St Francis Road, Denham. Criminal damage to property valued under £5,000. On January 4, damaged a front door valued at £1,208.80. Compensation £150. Costs £117. 
  • Thomas Donovan, 39, of Oxford Road, Gerrards Cross. Using a vehicle without third party insurance on A40 Oxford Road, Gerrards Cross, on February 5. Fined £660. Costs £151. Disqualified from driving for six months.  

It is established in the UK that court cases should be heard in public. This principle of open justice is acclaimed on a number of grounds: as a safeguard against judicial error, deterrent to perjury, to assist the deterrent function of trials and to permit the revelation of matters of public interest.
Costs include victim surcharge and courts charges.
