With the news that Wimpy is returning to High Wycombe and a new cocktail bar is on its way to the High Street, we are looking back at town centre scenes.

This photo was taken just up the road on November 20, 1966. Looking north east from the junction of Priory Road and Church Street, you can see the shops in the former Priory building in Castle Street, High Wycombe.
