The 'dangerous' driving took place some eight years after Gordon was convicted of another driving offence - causing death by careless driving in an unrelated crash.
The incident, all recorded on his dash-cam, took place on August 5 last year.
Gordon was driving a HGV southbound along the road at about 6.30pm.
Another driver was on the same road in a Mercedes hire car, which had broken down.
She had stopped near a bridge at Marcham where there was no hard shoulder and had turned on her hazards lights, staying inside the car becuase it was unsafe to get out.
Gordon approached from behind and was seen using his mobile phone to check the maps, moments before crashing into the back of her car with 'considerable force'.
