An armed robber who forced his way into a convenience store and waved a gun at staff is still at large, police have said.

A man rammed his moped into the front of McColl’s in Penn Road, Beaconsfield, early on Monday, September 14.

He waved a weapon that police believe was a black handgun at staff, telling them to open the safe and the tills before fleeing with cash and cheques.

The robber was male but wearing a full face black crash helmet and dark clothes so there is no further description.

The moped was dark coloured and had L plates, but the registration was hidden by a black bag.

No one was injured but the robbery was terrifying for staff members.
