This week, we are taking a look at some archive photos of Wooburn Green.
This first photo, from around 1920, shows the south side of The Green, with a steam-driven lorry outside The Central Stores shop.
The building is now Brook House Nursing Home and there are homes next door.

This photo from around 1930 shows the Working Men’s Club and the pub next door, with two young women walking in the road towards the camera.
The buildings, which are in a conservation area, are recognisable even now.
