THE following cases appeared at Reading and Slough Magistrates' Court:

August 20:

RICHARD BACON, 46, of Wordsworth, Great Hollands, admitted fraud by false representation by using a stolen debit card in Bracknell on August 17. Also admitted fraud by false representation by using a third party to buy cigarettes and £40 cashback in Bracknell on August 17. Also admitted fraud by false representation by using a third party to make a gain of £10.80 in Bracknell on August 17. Also admitted theft of a debit card and £10 cash in Bracknell on August 17. Committed to prison for 38 weeks total. Also ordered to pay £128 victim surcharge.

KEVIN KAVANAGH, 42, of Haversham Drive, Bracknell, admitted failing to provide specimen of breath for analysis in Reading on April 10. Community order made, including alcohol treatment requirement. Fined £120. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Also disqualified from driving for 36 months. 

JAMES THORNE, 28, of Bartholomew Place, Warfield, admitted drink-driving on The Straight Mile, Shurlock Row, on March 13. Found to have 106mcg alcohol per 100ml blood. Fined £276. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Also disqualified from driving for 12 months.
