EMERGENCY services were called out to a multi-vehicle crash in Barrow.
Two fire engines attended a two vehicle road traffic collision on Walney Road in Barrow.
The incident took place on Monday evening at approximately 5.48pm.
Fire crews used cutting gear to help release the trapped person from the vehicle.
They were present on the scene for around 30 minutes.
A spokesman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue said: "At 5.48pm on September 28, two fire engines attended a two vehicle road traffic collision."
