We asked ourselves this question here at The News, so we had a look on TripAdvisor to see what the five best 'cheap eats' places are in the borough, as voted by YOU.

1. Murat's Kebabs and Burgers - 5/5

This Turkish kebab van, based on Eastern Road, Bracknell, is rated the number one fast food place in Bracknell. One customer said: "Best Kebab, chips and onion rings that I have tried in Bracknell.

"I tried 3 others before and stopped looking. Very efficient.

"Lovely clean van and great food. What more could you ask. Well done!"

2. Robyn's Nest Cafe - 4/5

Bracknell News:

Robyns Nest Cafe, just off Maidenhead Road, Warfield, has had 125 reviews on Tripadvisor, and more than half have rated the store as 'Excellent." One TripAdvisor comment read: "Have just been treated to an amazing afternoon tea take-out boxes.

"Brilliant value and everything was really, really tasty.

"Given the quantity of food in the box I might have to fast before I tackle one of the picnic boxes!"

3. Mill Park Cafe - 4.5/5

Mill Park Cafe, found in the Mill Park, Wildridings Road, Bracknell, is widely renowned among loyal customers for its scenic views, based along the waters edge and amongst the trees.

One review read: "Went here as lived in the area for three years and never been.

"Wasn't expecting much but you should never judge a book by its cover.

"It was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and it's a lovely setting overlooking the pond.

"The breakfast was reasonably priced, hot and plentiful. Thank you for a great breakfast. A++++."

4. The Old Manor - 3.5/5

The Old Manor, Found on Church Road, Grenville Place, Bracknell, has been commended by customers looking for inexpensive food for their serious attitude towards Covid-safety and social distancing.

One review read: "When my wife and I went into the old Manor we were greeted by friendly staff and it was nice to see the old Manor taking covid-19 seriously.

"Lots of hand-sanitizer in auto pumps, which is also far safer. One at the entrance and various places inside the Manor.

"Great cleaners wearing masks and doing a thorough job. The barman kept a safe distance and served behind the screen. He was very polite and very helpful and efficient.

"We had two full English breakfasts, large size, and for the price of the food, we were totally satisfied with it and ingredients used a good standard.

"Didn't need to wait long either for our food to arrive. I admit I ate my wife's sausages and bacon too and left full. My wife has a hip injury and she does find chairs uncomfortable, but the padded seats helped her to feel comfortable enough to enjoy her breakfast.

"Seating areas are well spaced out too, so that made us both feel safer, during these troubling times we are all facing.

"Recommend using this pub for the safety measures they have in place and for the quality of service and food.

"Congratulations to the Old Manor for the due diligence and fantastic service we received.

"We really needed a good start to our day and you excelled in giving us a positive experience. We thank you!"

5. The Crown Wood - 4/5

The Crown Wood, of Opladen Way, Bracknell, was rated a four out of five, individually for its food, its service, its value, and its atmosphere.

One TripAdvisor review said: "Great food service was excellent and staff friendly and efficient.

"Good value for money would reopen any day of the week."
