BRACKNELL and Wokingham College is to host a virtual open evening at the end of this week.

The Activate-Learning-group college, on Church Road, Bracknell, made the announcement at the end of last month, allowing prospective parents and potential students to attend the virtual meeting.

Zoe Woods who studied A Levels at Bracknell and Wokingham College, said: “The teachers are really helpful and find new and exciting ways to explain things and get the context across while encouraging you to be independent with your learning while being willing to help.”

The virtual event is set to take place on Saturday, October 10.

Gina Moore, Head of Campus – Student Experience at Bracknell and Wokingham College, said: “In light of the coronavirus pandemic, we are doing Virtual Open Events this October to build upon the success that we had for our first series of Virtual Open Events that we had back in June.

“Although we would love to welcome everyone on campus and show them all the amazing facilities and meet with them face-to-face, in order to keep everyone safe we have taken the decision to make our Open Events virtual.

“I hope that everyone who attends will find out how we can support them to reach their full potential.”
