The following cases were heard at Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Court:

September 1:

JOHN LOVE, 58, of Frederick Place, Wokingham, admitted possession of a knife or blade in a public place in Frederick Place, Wokingham, on April 14, 2019. Given a community order including rehabilitation activity requirement. Fined £40. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs and £85 victim surcharge.

TREVOR FARRANT, 53, of Drayton Close, Bracknell, admitted speeding on the M5 in Gloucestershire on July 18, 2019. Found to be speeding at 66pmh in a 50mph zone. Fined £60. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £40 court costs. Four points added to driving licence.

CHRISTOPHER BEASLEY, 41, of Yardley, Bracknell Forest, admitted drug-driving on Ringmead, Bracknell, on January 28. Found to have cannabis in his blood. Fined £40. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. 

September 2:

GRANT EDMOND, 29, of Deepfield Road, Bracknell, admitted criminal damage to a window, door handle, and fence panel worth £1,104 in Bracknell on November 28, 2019. Given a conditional discharge for two years. Ordered to pay £900 compensation. Must also pay £85 court costs.
