The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

September 17:

GEORGE URMA, 29, of Hexham Road, Reading, admitted drink-driving on Vastern Road, Reading, on July 7. Found to have 74mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath. Fined £323. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months. 

DEJAN OSMANCEVIC, 40, of Duke Street, Reading, admitted remaining on or entering premises subject to a closure notice for nuisance or disorder in Reading on July 7. Fined £80. Also ordered to pay £34 and £85 court costs.

September 18:

BENJAMIN TAYLOR, 34, of Willow Street, Reading, admitted breaching a criminal behaviour order by being located in Broad Street, Reading, despite being prohibited for doing so. Sentenced to 14 days in prison.

JAKE COLLIS, 27, of Linden Road, Reading, admitted drug-driving on Rushey Way, Earley, on December 12, 2019. Found with cannabis in his blood. Also admitted possession of cannabis in Lower Earley on December 12, 2019. Fined £101. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

ANGELA COX, 47, of Westall Street, Shinfield, admitted drug-driving on Northumberland Avenue, Reading, on October 31, 2019. Found with cannabis in the blood. Fined £101. Also ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. 

NINA HAYLETT, 37, of Southampton Street, Reading, admitted theft of boots worth £80 from Shoezone in Reading on December 3, 2019. Convicted for an offence while subject to a conditional discharge, for stealing hair extensions worth £190.47 from Sally Salon Services in Reading on June 2. Original offence also included stealing two purses worth £60 from Cath Kidston in Reading on October 2, 2017. Fined £99. Also ordered to pay £80 compensation, £32 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

September 21:
BARRY GOSNEY, 32, of no fixed address, admitted stealing three boxes of Nicorette chewing gum worth £55 from Boots in Reading on April 23. Also convicted of a further offence while subject of a suspended sentence, for an original offence of four charges of theft from a shop on March 18, 2019, June 9, 2019, December 29, 2019, and January 8. Also failed to comply with a community requirement of the suspended sentence by failing to attend planned visits with an officer on March 27, May 15, and May 22. Sentenced to 12 weeks in prison suspended for 20 months. Also ordered to pay £156 victim surcharge.

SONNY WEBB, 36, of Kingman Way, Newbury, admitted speeding on M4 in Brentford on June 11, 2019. Found to be travelling at 78mph in a 60mph zone. Fined £340. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Three points added to driving licence.

ADA SZANKOWSKA, 23, of Newport Road, Newbury, admitted drink-driving on Lower Way, Newbury, on May 23. Found to have 50mcg of alcohol per 100ml breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35mcg. Fined £175. Also ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months. 

BAYLEY LEWIS, 19, of Coventry Road, Reading, admitted failing to comply with a community order by failing to attend meetings on July 14 and August 7. Also convicted for original offence which a community order was made on July 6, namely entering as a trespasser of a bike shed in Skelton Court, Connaught Road, Reading, with the intent to steal on November 13, 2018. Original offence also included stealing cookies, crisps, drinks and £65 from Subways in Reading on July 30, 2017. Ordered to pay £60 court costs. Given a community order including a requirement for 60 hours unpaid work.
