The following cases were heard at Reading and Slough Magistrates’ Court:

September 2:

IONEL STOIAN, 33, of Lion Road, Crowthorne, using threatening/abusive words/behaviour likely cause harassment/alarm/distress in Reading on June 25. Conditionally discharged for 6 months. Also ordered to pay £22 and £85 court costs. 

GARY AUSTIN, 49, of Nine Mile Ride, Finchampstead, admitted speeding on Nine Mile Ride on July 24, 2019. Found to be travelling at 37mph in a 30mph limit zone. Fined £115. Also ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also three points added to drivers license.

September 3:

DANIEL GARLAND, 43, of Carina Drive, Wokingham, admitted drink driving on Terrace Road South, Bracknell, on May 25. Found to have 108mg alcohol per 100ml blood, exceeding the legal limit of 80mg. Fined £750. Also ordered to pay £75 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Also disqualified from driving for 14 months. 

LUKE HUMPHRIES, 26, of Clifton Road, Wokingham, admitted drink driving on Reading Road on July 1. Found to have 54mcg alcohol per 100ml breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35mcg. Fined £346. Also ordered to pay £35 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Also disqualified from driving for 40 months.
