The new cafe at a popular High Wycombe park is making huge progress.
The green corrugated shed that the cafe used to be housed in at The Rye was demolished last month and work has been ongoing off-site to build a replacement.
Now, the wooden-clad cafe has been hoisted into place, meaning it is one step closer to completion.

Photos taken at The Rye by BFP Camera Club member Paul Bisseker show the new cafe in place, with construction workers on site.
The cafe is reportedly going to be ready to open its doors to parkgoers in early 2021.
Although it has been given a huge facelift, you will still be able to hire boats from there and it has been suggested that the tenant who ran the old cafe will return to the new one when it opens.
The added bonus of a new cafe is that there will finally be toilets available to use at the park - and you do not need to have bought anything at the cafe to be able to use them.
