Buckinghamshire Council deals with thousands of planning applications every year.

They range from house owners wanting to build an extension to new homes, shops, businesses and even chopping down trees.

Here are four of the best projects announced from last week - the council will now consider whether each should go ahead.

Land South Of Orchard House, Amersham Road, Hazlemere 

A plan has been submitted to build eight new four-bedroom properties in Hazlemere.

Developers have put forward the proposal to develop to land to the south of Orchard House in Amersham Road.

5 Plomer Hill, High Wycombe 

A plan has been submitted to demolish a High Wycombe home and build nine new apartments on the land.

The proposed development, at 5 Plomer Hill, High Wycombe, would see six two-bedroom apartments and three one-bedroom apartments built in the place of the existing two-storey house

1 Briary Cottages, Glade Road, Great Hampden

This household in Great Hampden has submitted a proposal to construct a new summerhouse on the property, following the demolition of two existing sheds on the site.

Hill House, Harvest Hill, Hedsor

A proposal has been submitted which would see the demolition of the existing dwelling on the site, and the subsequent erection of a replacement six-bed detached home, complete with a detached garage to front, landscaping works and associated external works.
