A BRACKNELL bookworm is hoping to reunite a mother with their long-lost baby scan after finding the special image in a chance encounter.
The man, who did not want to be named, came across the photograph after picking up a book from a second-hand exchange point at Martins Heron rail station.

Found in a copy of Richard Dawkins’ ‘The God Delusion’, which the man grabbed around three weeks ago, the scan includes key details which may help identify the mother.
It was printed at Royal Berkshire Hospital in late 2007.
It also features the name of the mother, but in the interest of protecting the rightful owner’s privacy, The News has decided to obscure this information.

If any reader recognises the image and suspects it may be theirs, please get in touch with the News by emailing news@bracknellnews.com or via Facebook so we can verify the information and put you in touch with the man who found the scan.
The man said: “Rather than just throw it away I thought I would try and find its owner.
“I thought, how can I get it back to the mother?
“Maybe it was a memento?
“I would just like to see it reunited with its owner.”
