Buckinghamshire Council deals with thousands of planning applications every year.

They range from house owners wanting to build an extension to new homes, shops, businesses and even chopping down trees.

Here are five of the best projects announced from last week - the council will now consider whether each should go ahead.

Amersham Road, High Wycombe

A proposal has been submitted to Buckinghamshire Council seeking to build a new residential development of 43 homes.

The proposal seeks to build the new homes on the the land to the north of Terriers Lodge on Amersham Road in High Wycombe.

20 Oak Tree Avenue, Marlow

This household in Marlow have submitted a plan to demolish their existing conservatory.

In it's place, the application highlights a plan to construct a single storey rear extension.

Upper Thames Sailing Club, Riverside, Bourne End

This sailing club in Bourne End has submitted a proposal to change part of the field to sailing boat parking for club dinghies.

This would be done by laying of porous surface of road planing to match the existing car park and forming a new lay-by in the access road Upper Thames Way for deliveries and for club members to park.

The Bootlegger, 3 Amersham Hill, High Wycombe 

This popular pub in High Wycombe has submitted a planning application to constructi anew detached building to the sde, in order to create a new catering facility.

The plan also includes a new open sided timber shelter to the rear, with the replacement of timber decking to garden with various new surfacing areas.

Chiltern Yard, Hammersley Lane, High Wycombe

A proposal has been put forward to demolish the existing structures on this property.

Developers hope to replace the existing structures with five new two-storey detached residential housing.

The application also includes landscaping and associated works.
