Emergency services were called to the scene of a crash on the M40 early this morning which left a car on its roof.

Three fire crews, one from Beaconsfield and two from High Wycombe, were called to the scene of the crash on the M40 southbound between junctions 4 (Handy Cross) and 3 (Loudwater) at around 1.40am this morning.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the crash or trapped in the vehicle, which was resting on its roof on the hard shoulder.

Firefighters made the scene safe.
