A new interactive map has revealed the areas in High Wycombe that have had the most Covid cases diagnosed weekly.

The GOV.UK tool examines how seven-day rates are expressed per 100,000 of the population and is updated each day.

Data is currently based on the seven days up to October 22.

Rates are calculated by dividing the seven day count by the area population and multiplying by 100,000.

In order to help to identify trends or patterns in the data over time, seven-day rolling averages can be calculated.

Nine new cases were diagnosed in High Wycombe town centre, up by five on the previous week. The rolling rate is 76.3.

Nine new cases also diagnosed in Oakridge & Castlefield, the same as the previous week. The rolling rate stands at 92.2.

Sands saw seven new cases diagnosed, an increase of five on the week before. The rolling rate is 100.6.

Micklefield saw ten cases, up from two in the previous week. The rolling rate increased dramatically to 176.5.

Bowerdean had ten new cases, exactly the same as the previous week. The rolling rate stands at 144.9.

Terriers and Amersham Hill had 11 cases, up from five on the previous week. The rolling rate is 131 exactly.

Downley had 11 cases, four more than the week before. The rolling rate is 96.

Totteridge had six new cases, up by four on the week before with a rolling rate of 87.1

Eight new cases were diagnosed in Ryemead and Wycombe Marsh, with the rolling rate standing at 82.7.

Tylers Green saw nine new cases diagnosed, up by two on the previous week. The rolling rate stands at 159.5.

Loudwater and Wooburn Green saw five cases diagnosed, up two on the previous week. The rolling rate is 76.7.

Flackwell Heath saw 11 new cases, up by six on the previous week. The rolling rate is 189.6.
