Buckinghamshire Council deals with thousands of planning applications every year.

They range from house owners wanting to build an extension to new homes, shops, businesses and even chopping down trees.

Here are five of the best projects announced from last week - the council will now consider whether each should go ahead.

55 Wycombe Road, Princes Risborough

A planning application has been submitted to build a new detached four-bedroom property to the front of this address.

Included in the proposals are plans for an attached double garage, car parking and a bin storage area.

Ridgewood, Spurgrove Lane, Frieth

A planning application has been submitted to remove the existing dwelling on the site.

If the plan is approved, it will be replaced with a new two storey four-bedroom home, complete with a double garage and the creation of a new driveway.

Spade Oak Quarry, Marlow Road, Little Marlow

A planing permission to continue to use this site for film-making purposes has been submitted.

The site could be used for a further three years, should the planning application be approved.

Garage Site, Marefield Road, Marlow

A planning application has been submitted to replace the garages into new properties.

The current garages will be replaced by four new properties, with associated access and landscaping work, should the plan be approved.

Garage Site, Tyzack Road, High Wycombe

Similar to the planning application above, proposals have been put forward to demolish the existing garages at this location to be replaced by new homes.

Nine new properties will be built, with associated access and landscaping work carried out, should the planning application be approved.
