A Buckinghamshire tearoom has refused to allow Conservative MP Greg Smith to help them pack children's lunches, after he voted against a Labour motion to provide food vouchers to families earlier this month.
Curiositea Rooms in Ivinghoe shared an email which offered assistance from the MP, who was hoping to assist the cafe in preparing meals for families during the half-term period.
In response to the request, the tearoom shared a screenshot of the original email - alongside an article from the Bucks Free Press, confirming that Smith had voted against the Labour motion.

In a caption accompanying the post, Curiositea Rooms wrote: "We don’t want to get into politics, we’re a small coffee shop in the heart of the community, but we believe no child should go hungry!
"But this did make us laugh, it’s a no from us !!!
"TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER XXX"
The tearoom has since delivered 285 free meals to children in need.
