The most dangerous streets in High Wycombe have been revealed.

Statistics for the latest month available (September) reveals that 239 crimes were reported in High Wycombe, the highest figure since February.

Most dangerous streets

1. Bridge Street (12 crimes reported in September)

12 crimes were reported in Bridge Street in September 2020.

Of these, the most common was shoplifting (seven), followed by violence and sexual offences (three).

There was one report of a drugs offence and police classified the remaining report as 'other crime'.

2. Church Square (11 crimes reported in September)

Throughout September, a total of 11 crimes were reported in Church Square.

Ten of the reports were violence and sexual offences, with the remaining report being classified as 'other theft'.

3. Ryemead Way (ten crimes reported in September)

Ryemead Way saw a total of ten reported crimes throughout September.

The most common of these was violence and sexual offences (seven) followed by one report each of burglary, criminal damage and arson and 'other crimes'.

4. Kaybridge Close (seven crimes reported in September)

In total, seven crimes were reported in Kaybridge Close throughout September.

Four of the reports were related to anti-social behaviour, two related to criminal damage and arson and one related to violence and sexual offences.

5. High Street (six crimes reported in September)

Six crimes were reported in High Wycombe's High Street in September.

Two of these crimes related to both public order offences and violence and sexual offences, with one report each relating to anti-social behaviour and other crimes.
