Muslims across High Wycombe have celebrated the birth of the Prophet Muhammad, by giving churches, shops and the children’s ward at Wycombe Hospital flowers and boxes of chocolates.
The Imam at Wycombe Mosque, Imam Haseeb Jahangir, led the initiative with a group of volunteers from the mosque.
Imam Haseeb said " Prophet Muhammad has been sent as a mercy and as a blessing.
“He taught us to love one another.
“Prophet Muhammad taught us to promote love, peace, and harmony.

“I am grateful to be a part of spreading love in our town".
Sajid Ali, who is the vice-chairman of Wycombe Mosque, added: “We are delighted to carry out this initiative on the birth of our holy prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.

“He has taught us to love our neighbours and this is exactly what we are doing.
“The birth of the holy prophet is very important to us as Muslims.”
The prophet was born on October 29/October 30.
