This year events to commemorate Remembrance Day have of necessity been somewhat muted, so here are a few pictures of the commemorations from the past.
Here we see the Remembrance Service at the War Memorial in The Causeway, Marlow in 1978:
The villagers of Holmer Green organised in 1953 an ambitious Festival of Remembrance event which was very well attended. This included a tableau representing the three Armed Services and supporting organisations, and even housewives who represented the Home Front:

In 1966 the Remembrance Sunday parade marched towards the parish church between two rows of flags in Church Square, High Wycombe:
In 1955 the grassed area between All Saints church and Church Street was converted into a Field of Remembrance, where members of the public could place their own remembrance crosses:
