The main Nostalgia page this week features the history of the former premises of the Wheatsheaf public house, Nos 2 & 3 at the western end of the High Street, High Wycombe.
This is the oldest secular building in the town, only All Saints parish church is older.

Work is about to begin to restore it to its former glory, with scaffolding to allow the building to be re-roofed due to be erected in the next week or so.
