High Wycombe is a historic town with its fair share of significant landmarks.

So this week, we have unearthed some of the town's most famous attractions and what they look like now.

This first picture, from 1961, shows the Guildhall in the High Street, with the Falcon Hotel next to it.

It is still a familiar sight, standing proudly in the town centre. The Falcon Hotel is now the Falcon pub and the street around it has been partially pedestrianised.

This second photo shows St Lawrence’s Church in West Wycombe, circa 1895, with the Golden Ball on top of the tower. The church still stands strong, with the Golden Ball as prominent as ever.
