A man from Marlow is aiming to score a Christmas number one to ‘try and bring back the happiness’ this festive season.
Music producer Harry Clarke revealed to the Free Press that due to the hardships brought by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, he hopes that the track, ‘Ding Dong’, will help those end the year on the high.

The song, which was written by Olivia Sebastianelli and Sarah Thompson, will see its proceeds go towards the Care Workers Charity, with the latter working as a care worker during the first lockdown of the year.
And with Christmas in just over a months’ time, Harry hopes that ‘Ding Dong’, can cause an upset in the charts.
The name of the group that sung 'Ding Dong' are called Bandit & The Baubles.
He said: “We thought about how it has been a rubbish year because of Covid, so we wanted to do something to try and end the year positively and try and bring back the happiness that is Christmas.
“So, we decided to sit down and write a song.

“We loved it so much that we decided to record a music video and put it out there.”
The video has since been viewed 2,500 times after it was uploaded to YouTube on November 12, with many people praising the tune.

Big names in the music industry have also backed the song to get to number one, with the likes of Ricky Wilson from the Kaiser Chiefs, Nadine Coyle from Girls Aloud, and Radio 1 DJ Mollie King, who was a member of the girl band, The Saturdays, all supporting the ditty.
The music video was shot in Peckham at the start of the month with Sarah dressing up as a Christmas present, and despite gaining a lot of attention on the streets of south London, Harry revealed that the support from those watching the video being recorded was positive.

He continued: “The support we got from those in the industry made me feel like we have done the right thing.
"It is good that it is already bringing a bit of positivity to everyone.

“And we shot the video in Peckham because the film director lives in that area, and there are a lot of pedestrianised areas, so we wouldn’t have to worry about cars hitting the artists!
“It [the support from the public] was really positive.
“There’s this idea that London is quite unfriendly, but everyone was really happy.
"They were waving and were saying hello, people were asking for pictures and it was really positive.

“I know this year has been something that we have not expected but it seems like we’re near the end of it with the vaccine.
"And it looks like we’re going to have Christmas together, so hopefully the song can bring a bit of joy.
"Enjoy Christmas and make the most of what we have."
