A 24-year-old man was chased by a group of men after he was ‘punched and kicked’ in Milton Keynes.

At around 6.45pm on Thursday, November 19, the man was approached by a group of four men who were riding scooters, believed to be either stunt scooters or electric scooters, outside the Post Office in Netherfield local centre, Farthing Grove, Netherfield.

One person from the group had a cage or splint around his right lower leg.

The group began allegedly attacking the man by punching and kicking him before he ran towards the Co-Op, seeking refuge inside the store.

He was pursued by the group inside the store and received a puncture wound consistent with a knife injury and required treatment at Milton Keynes University Hospital.

He has since been discharged.

The offenders are all described as white, aged in their late teens to early 20s.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Greg Hughes of Milton Keynes CID, said: “This was a nasty incident and the victim received what appears to be a wound caused by a sharply-bladed instrument.
