An investigation has been launched after an attempted robbery at knifepoint.

The victim, a 33-year-old man, was walking his dog in the Redway behind McColls in Highgrove Hill, Great Holm, Milton Keynes, on Friday, November 20, when he was approached by a man he did not know at around 8.55pm.

The man pulled a knife from his jeans pocket and demanded property from the victim, who refused.

He then left the scene empty handed in the direction of Crownhill.

Police said the victim was not injured, and have released an e-fit of the suspect.

He is described as white, aged between 35 and 43 and about 5ft 8ins tall. He is said to have patchy facial hair, fat lips and with a medium build.

He was wearing a dirty grey hooded top, navy jeans and a dark coloured baseball cap, and is described as having an eastern European accent.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Sebastian Kuzoe, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I would like to speak to the man in this image, or anyone who recognises him.”
