THE Mayor of High Wycombe, Maz Hussain, will be handing out hot meals on Christmas day at All Saints Church to people who need them.

The dinner will be held from midday to 1.30pm with anyone welcome to pick up and take a hot meal home.

As well as hot meals there are 700 gifts bags, containing festive gifts, to be handed out throughout the week as of December 22.

The mayor said: “We would like to think no one will go without a hot meal this Christmas.

“Of course we will be giving out hot meals at All Saints Church at Castle Street.

“Any one is welcome to take the hot meal home to enjoy.

“We are also handing out 700 Christmas gift bags containing a few festive treats for the elderly In our community.

“We would like for these gift bags to reach those who are in need in order to help put a smile on the faces of those who are struggling.

“We will be start to give these out tomorrow (Tuesday 22nd)

“There will be 700 plus support bags to give out.

“We will continue to give these out in the next few days until they are all gone.

“I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a very prosperous new year."
