A spokesperson from the RCoM said: “Although this year has been entirely overtaken by the great sadness, and problems cause by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Rotary Club of Marlow, amongst other community work, has still been able to raise substantial monies to help support two major local charities.

This will help both charities carry out their vital work in the community.

Some of the money has come from the club’s charity fund as a result of various Public Charity Functions held last year, as well as the recent President’s Auction.

The annual event raised a record amount of over £2,000.

Additionally, direct contributions willingly offered by many members of the money they would normally have paid to attend the weekly club lunch meeting also went to the two charities.
