In the message to Finn O'Mahoney, Deputy Headmaster Mr. Wallace said: “Everyone here at RGS is thinking of you [Finn O'Mahoney] and wishing you as full and speedy recovery that is possible.

“Before our run yesterday I reminisced to our boys about you having the best I’ve seen at U15 level.

“You really were a expectational student when you were here, not just a great rugby player, but a cracking bloke.

“I really hope when you’re up and  out of hospital we can get you back into RGS and maybe coming in and doing an assembly and maybe helping the hookers with their lineup throwing.

“I just wish all the very best to you and your family during this difficult period.”
