Two men from Aylesbury have been arrested and charged with drug and weapon offences following a regional operation to reduce crime in the area.
At around 3pm on Monday, January 4, a 19-year-old man and a 21-year-old man from the town were arrested as part of Aylesbury Stronghold – an operation to crackdown organised crime within the Thames Valley.

One of the men was charged with possession with the intent to supply cannabis, possess/acquire/use criminal property, and possession of a knife/bladed/sharply pointed article in a public place.
Following the arrest of the second man, he has since been charged with possession with the intent to supply cannabis and possess/acquire/use criminal property.
Both men remain in police custody and will appear in court today [Tuesday, January 5].
Thames Valley Police Aylesbury Vale said: “Our stance is very clear. Knife crime will not be tolerated under any circumstances, anywhere on the streets of Aylesbury Vale.”
